What To Expect
We understand that stepping into a new church, especially if you have never been in one before, can be very intimidating. For this reason, we want to give you an idea of what to expect at HOME Church.
WHERE IS SERVICE?
31 Neighborhood Road, Mastic NY, 11951 (Mastic Beach Property Owners Association).
WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE SHOULD I EXPECT TO MEET?
Anyone and everyone! People are great at labeling those that need Jesus and those that don’t, but Jesus taught everyone needs Him. Some of the people at HOME Church have made the personal commitment to follow Jesus, and others have not; either way, we are committed to journeying through life with everyone, in order that all would see the incredible hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SERVICE LOOK LIKE?
Our doors open at 10:30 AM, and we encourage everyone to come at this time to take advantage of our complementary coffee bar; it is a great time to get connected with other people. Our service begins at 11 AM and ends at 12:30 PM. During service, you will experience spirit-filled worship, a time to greet each other, announcements for upcoming events, and a Christ-centered message.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
At HOME Church, we are passionately committed to teaching our kids about Jesus, and providing a safe environment. We offer child care for 0-3 years old (please bring a diaper, wipes, change of clothes, and a drink), and 4-8 years old. Child care is available for the entire service.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We believe that God is much more concerned with our inward appearance (condition of our heart), than our outward appearance. So, we invite you to dress comfortable, although a typical outfit is jeans and a casual top, such as a t-shirt, button down, or blouse.
